Glamour Photography by Kenneth Willardt
Kenneth Willardt is a celebrity, beauty, and fashion photographer currently based in New York City.
Willardt was raised in the small town of Espergaerde just north of Copenhagen where, through his father’s interest in photography, he came to develop his own interest in it. Even at a very early age, he spent a great deal of his free time shooting with a Voigtländer 63. Willardt eventually studied at the Danish School of Photography, where he apprenticed under photographer Torsten Graae for five and a half years before moving to New York City in 1987.

At twenty-four, Willardt launched his photography business, shooting for a diverse range of beauty- and fashion-focused publications and campaigns. He was also named “Best New Photographer” by professional photography industry publication PDN Magazine early in his career and exhibited his first show in Tokyo, Japan at the Kodak House.

Willardt has worked on campaigns for many beauty products including: Christian Dior, Nivea, L'Oréal, Pantene and Target; and Garnier, Calgon, Head & Shoulders, Max Factor, Maybelline, Neutrogena, Oil of Olay, Revlon and Shiseido.
He has also done editorial work for the magazines Allure, GQ, InStyle, the British edition of Glamour, and the Brazilian, German and Spanish editions of Vogue; and A Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Seventeen, the US edition of Glamour, and the Chinese edition of Vogue.

His achievements in advertising and fashion also include a campaign for Marco Bicego jewelry and the creation of the award-winning "bullseye" branding campaign, “Sign of the Times,” for Target.
